Between August and November 2008 I spent three months as Artist in Residence in Kamiyama, Japan.

During my residency I created several projects from one-of-a-kind pop-up books to limited edition books, installations; HEART, an animation and limited edition flipbook created using traditionally indigo-dyed fabrics, a postcard project, a set of fusuma-e paintings for a local puppet theater and a sketchbook project.
